Ok everyone time to get this thread rolling.
If any of you were paying attention over the past few months you'll know ive started a gathering items for a build and now that its finally getting to spring its time to get started.


Lets start with what im planing on doing.
Interior
-Custom center console ive been working
- 2 12" kenwood subs in custom fiberglass boxes
-Full power/heated leather seats from infinity

Body
-New Windshield and repair window seal
-New door and window seals
-ive already put on my new tailgate.
-Quad Headlights with 8k Hids
-Light bar that attaches to frame and goes up b pillar all the the way around body with 42" Led Flood light bar.

Engine Bay
-Putting in a 7mge from a 88' Supra
-Running Dual batteries
-Bunch of relocating items for cleaner look

Chassis
-85 Solid axle Chassis swap
-5" Lift Leaf packs
-Gas tank elimination replacing with fuel cell and braided fuel lines the whole length
-Custom rock sliders
-Custom bumpers
- 12k Badlands winch
- Class 3 hitch
-Entire chassis Powder coated

-Wheels
-1 set of 16 inch rims with 35"s on them
-1 set of 17" 2004 4runner rims with 32" wranglers on them powder coated metallic green.

As of right now yesterday i removed the 3.0 and the 3.4 from the 85 and emptied all the parts i had in the body unbolted the body and got everything disconnected, going to be removing the body in about an hour and get started on the frame
planing on welding up and holes in frame that arnt needed and reinforcing in areas

Will post pictures later today with everything

Also like to say this will be a slightly slower build because its all happening at me parents house 40 mins from my house and i will only get to work on it 1-2 days a week

would a title stay with body or chassis?

As it sits right now

here i got the fuel tank and holder off
as well as fuel lines and break lines and proportioning valve

Has anyone used braided break lines?

Pumped to see this build! pics look killer! :frog: Are the rims on your current runner the 04 4runner rims? Going to be green like the engine? (which also looks sick, great attention to detail!)

I head you on the shop being far away.. Just have to make your shop time count!

anyone know where i can get a new proportioning valve?

nix99 probably has one, or can get one. Ive always had good luck with them. But why not get rid of it? Less hassle down the road and probably cheaper.

They are adjustable, mounts under the hood (or anywhere) and with a few twists of a knob, you can change from 30% braking for carrying empty loads, to 50% ( or however much you need) if youre hauling something.

Also I'm in serious need of 5mge motor mounts the metal bracket that bolts to the block if anyone has a set I would pay nicely mk2 supras or early 80s cressidas have them in it

Use steel brake lines and have them powder coated too with the frame then use braided on the calipers

Good news my fuel cell shipped today its been on back order for at least a month

Well the fuel cell arrived at the house today if all goes well by saturday night ill have the hitch welded in and the fuel cell mounts made

Got to work on the frame today!

Got almost every bracket cut off the frame have 3 small ones left
still have to finish that back bar hoping to get hitch mounts welded in tomorrow then just start welding all the small holes in the frame.
