Props to Brilliant

When I first got on this forum one of the first post I encountered was some crappy buying/selling between two members. That right there had me convinced I wouldnt do any buisness on here.

Low and behold I did, cause I needed a cheap radio. So im giving huge props to Brilliant. Needed a radio and cd player for my 98 and figured I would just go back to stock. Asked a question on here if other models would work and he made a statement he had one. Only wanted the shipping fee and before I could even pay him it seemed like it was shipped out. 2 days later it just got here. Havent even installed it yet and really dont even care if it works due to what I paid. But if I ever need anything he's selling again, I wont hesitate to buy it from him.

Thanks Brilliant

Thank you for giving him the props. I can reassure you that 98-99% of the people I have encountered on this forum are stand up people. Sure there are a few but I honestly think that on this forum it is a lot fewer than on other forums that are flakes or shady.

I couldn't agree with you more, Pikeman. Out of all the items I've bought and sold on here, I've only had one sketchy transaction and I still received the item, it just took forever. This is a great group of stand-up people on this site!

Its in, and it works perfectly. He made mention that he didnt go through each and every button but he was almost positive it worked. Like I said I didnt care because of the price, but happy now I got a cd player that works.

But the center console on a 98 is a little harder to get out then what I read on this site. Maybe different years but its not all held in buy the spring push pins. My 98 I had to remove the center console tops to access the front bezel. Then from there pulled out my ashtray/coin holder, remove the switches from the a/c controls, pull off the front of that to access 3 screws that were behind there, then it pulled out. Once out 6 plugs you had to pull out of the rear. Anyways it was it was simple.
