PSA - Bluetooth - Galaxy S21

Maybe this will help save someone some Bluetooth frustration.

Decided to upgrade my Galaxy S7 to a S21 this weekend. When pairing to my 2012's Bluetooth I found that the phone function worked fine but I could no longer stream Pandora. Head unit would just sit there on the searching screen. I was pissed. Went to some phone forums and found that this is a fairly common and un-resolved issue. Lots of speculation that the new Bluetooth protocols were no longer compatible with older vehicles. I wasn't believing that.

I Spent 2 hours on it pairing and re-pairing with no luck. I was ready to return the phone but thought I'd check to see if there was an entune update I missed, there wasn't. I downloaded the last update that i had already installed four years ago and re-installed it on the runner. Voila!! Streaming works now. Not sure what the issue was and the head unit acknowledged that I already had installed what I was trying to install but it gave me the option to re-install anyway.

If I hadn't given it a try for the hell of it I would have returned the phone. Hope this helps someone out.
