Puddle Light Bulb?

Bootleg

Anyone know what the bulb type is for the puddle lights? I'd like to swap mine out for LEDs to make them a bit brighter. Okay, I want them a lot brighter. :der:

Thanks! I guess the search function would have been the best way to go instead of making a new thread. Can I ask what you think of the LEDs in the puddle lights nearly 3 years later? Worth the $30 in brightness and usable light?

Worth EVERY penny! Absolutely love them! They still work fine too. Mine has a smart key, and it is nice when you get close to the vehicle to be able to see the ground, or God forbid, a puddle, when you get close the vehicle. Wife loves them too.

Anyone have pics of the exterior puddle light bulbs? Also need current (2017) part #. Not able to find the bulbs outside of buying a kit.

Its a 194. Shows up on most bulb manufacturer and reseller sites (osram, Sylvania, xenon depot)

Thank you. Noob just trying to get where ya'll already are. Looking forward to seeing what you do to the 2017 Limited.

All good - glad to help. Be sure to stick with high quality brands. Lots of cheap crap on fleabay - some good, some not so much.

Installed

Got the JDM ASTAR Super brights installed today. Exactly what I was looking for.

JDMs

These are the packages with part numbers for the JDM lights. You will need two packs of the first pic to do the dome light and rear deck lid .One package of the second pic does everything else interior wise. The bulbs I used in the puddle lights are pic 3.
Ignore the bulbs in the packages-they are the ones that I took out and needed a place to keep them all together.

I'd stick to superbrightleds.com

I've been using them forever and their LED's never give out... if they do it was a fluke and they will replace it. Also has a bulb finder if you enter your vehicle they give you everything... although they didn't have the puddle bulbs, but a simple cross ref will tell you the size. In that case you simply find that the puddle bulbs are the same as the license plate so you can just click license place bulbs and choose one of those.
