Pulling my 4runner to Texas from Iowa.

I will be moving to Texas for work them month have been given a company excab Silverado (4.8:doh as a company truck and since I don't want to sell the runner just yet I am considering taking it with me, by means of towing it behind the pickup. Thoughts or concerns would be appreciated, I am also assuming i would need to rent a harness from uhaul though i am concerned about damaging the 4wd system,

If it were me and had the funds i would go with putting it on a trailer and bringing it down keeps the miles off and no worries about messing anything up or tires blowing. But if you cant get a trailer just pull the rear drive shaft as stated above.

Yes, that is the "middle of freakin nowhere". BUT, at least you are in TEXAS. Also, there is some DAMNED good fishing out there. Possum Kingdom Lake is awesome and you are only an hour away from DFW. And did I mention that at least you are in TEXAS?

no i'm pumped about Texas, and I figure it will be decently legit down there once i figure out where everything is.

Well, if you are a liberal, then you are probably going to be bummed about Texas. However, if you are not a lib, and if you are an outdoorsman, it's a paradise. I am curious though. Seymour is pretty small and obscure. What line of work brings you to Seymour?

haha not liberal, and Windpower, my company is contracted to build 100 turbines just west of Seymour above red springs. It was either Texas or Nova Scotia, and I didn't want to have to worry about getting my guns across the boarder:gun4:
