I agree. I am hoping this is a live and learn lesson. As that sensor he get from Amazon is counterfeit and why it didn't function properly.
The fines should be higher and all those sellers selling counterfeit parts on eBay and Amazon should be heavily punished.
It's one thing if they didn't know but that's not the case here. They know and just don't care. That's extremely sad..
