question about navigation update and camera

Hi everyone! I purchased a used 03 Limited about 2 weeks ago and I am loving it. It has the stock navigation. I am trying to find out exactly what you get when you purchase and update. Does it just update the maps and POI or does it update to new graphics and features of newer systems? Also I have ordered the Eclipse BEC104 backup camera. It will be here on Tuesday. From every search I have read it seems to just plug-n-play. Is this correct? Is there any thing I need to know before my husband and son gets into this? Thanks for your help!

I know this is an old thread but what did you find out? Im looking at doing the same thing. Was it plug and play?
