Question about toyota dealership aftermarket maintenance

Local shop botched a leveling kit install (left the bushings out?), and honestly don't trust them with my runner anymore. Would a local dealership remove the spacers for me and does anyone have an idea on price?

I would not have a toyota dealer fix any aftermarket mistakes on your vehicle. They will document this in your vehicle history and may potentially use this to void future warrantee work on your suspension.

take this to another shop to fix it, if you want to. There has to a be a reputable offload shop around you, or have the original shop fix it. It's not that big of a deal.

I’ve had dealerships do mods before (and remove them). It just depends on the dealer.

As far as price goes, I would guess they would just charge regular labor hour.

I had my lift installed by my dealer because they guaranteed that it would not effect the warranty.

If you trust your dealer, take it to them and have the messed up stuff removed and let them install everything right. If you don't trust them, find a dealer that you do trust.

I also had the dealership install my lift. After walking past a Tacoma in the lobby that was jacked sky high, I started a conversation with the service manager. I Asked them who did the work for them, warranty, cost, time, etc. I was expecting them to refer me to the local off road shop thats been in town for years, but I was shocked when he said they do them all the time right there. I made the appointment to have it done the next day and couldn't be happier with what I got.

Some dealers are great.....others not so much.

I just had my xreas suspension replaced under warranty by my dealer. I asked them if they would install a front leveling kit while it was apart. They installed it
and I have zero issues.
