Question for retrofit experts

So I keep having issues with my lights not wanting to turn on sometimes or they flicker while driving and it's annoying.
Am I able to put regular bulbs in or do I have to get new headlights for that? I really don't have time to mess with wiring right now to figure out the issue so I'd be happy with halogen for now, but am not sure if the projectors will have issues with halogen bulbs?

I would make sure all of the grounds and connections are solid. The grounds need to be firm and bare metal if possible. Sometimes the paint can interfere with the connection. Check the connections with the ballasts as that might be causing the issue, although I've heard of people having issues with Morimoto ballasts recently. It does sound like a connection or ballast issue though.

In regards to your other question, you need a different set of headlights as you can't put halogens in projectors. Do you still have those old headlights?

Sounds like your ballasts are done for. I had similar issues on a previous retro. A higher quality set of ballasts, and everything functioned fine. As already stated though, no, you can't just put "regular" bulbs back in.
