Question: JL 12" sub

I have a really nice JL Audo 12 in a custom box with light, etc...the foam edge was torn, but not the speaker in a recent move. Is this easily repaired? Can I do it or should I pay someone? what material is best to fix this with?

ebay should have replacement surrounds that you can replace. how old are they?

Is it the material that holds the cone to the frame or is it the surround? Pics would be good.

It's just the surround. Looks like eBay has a kit for $35. I'm gonna buy it. Thanks!

you don`t even have to replace foam surrounding just re glue and enjoy, 15 minutes deal. $3 for a glue at home depot.

Rubber contact cement / Rugby ... whatever will stay flexible.
