I have researched about everything that I can find and still cant get the answer I'm looking for. I have an 02 Sport 4x4 that I just recently picked up. I had a set of 265/65/18 BFG KO's w/ Moto Metal wheels that I took off my Tacoma when I sold it. I put them on the 4runner and love the way they look and ride but I want to raise the 4runner about 2". I do know for a fact that I am putting 5100's on all 4 corners w/ the adjustable's up front. My question is what springs if any do I need to put in the rear to get me the 2" that i'm looking for? I was looking at the either a 1.5" spacer from daystar or OME 906 coils. I know that I can level the front out using the adj. 5100's with the OEM coils. I really want to do this thing right the first time. This vehicle is my daily driver w/ mild off road use. Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated. THX

Coils will ride better than a spacer lift. Also you would be adding spacers to coils that are probably sagging and will continue to sag.
The 2002 is one of the lowest 4runners so the 906 should give you ~2" of lift. If you need a touch more lift in the back, you could add a 10mm trimpacker Rear Coil spring spacers 10MM - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits
Also the OME 906 have a higher spring rate (220# for the 906, ~160# for the stock coils). The 906 will compress less under loads due to this.

The 906 are marked A & B. The A coil is taller and goes on the drivers side. You can add a 10mm to both sides for a little added lift and/or one to a low side.

Has anyone compared the Tundra coils and toytec lift coils? From a few pictures that I've seen it looks like the tundra coils with adjustable 5100's lift the front end higher than the toytec's
