Hello, I have been reading this forum for a while now and just traded in my 2003 gray for a 2018 gray Premium SR5 4wd. I am mainly a city driver but would like to make it look a little more bolder. From reading the forum, it sounds like there is no option just to level the truck by just raising the front an inch. So I am looking at a 3/2 Ready Lift or Pro Comp lift kit. I don’t want to mess with the factory ride so don’t really want to change the suspension. In talking to the company in Houston who I will have do the job, I was looking at either the Fuel Trophy D552 or Fuel Podium D619. I have a gray 4Runner and thought Anthracite with black would be a good look. The shop is saying to go with the 18/9 rims cause they think they would look better with 285/65/18 Toyo Tires. I am torn between going 18/9 or staying 17/9 or 17/8.5. And should I go with 275 or 285 tires etc... I want a broader stance on my 4runner but am a low maintenance type guy. My questions are:
1: thoughts on the 2 leveling kits mentioned if I have to go that route
2: can you just raise the front and level it without the back
3: I like the thicker fuel podium spoke vs trophy but does anybody have experience with either, what would look better?
4: would 17 or 18 inch Rims look better and which tire size do you think would optimize the wheel well and look the best?
