Question re: the standard 16 inch wheels

I have a set of the standard 16” 6-spoke wheels and am wondering if they have any value or if I should donate them to the junk yard. I’ve been trying to sell on Craigslist but haven’t had any interest at all. Appreciate any advice.

Sorta boils down to this:

1: 16" is kinda dead compared to the current 17" tire offerings
2: it really depends how much you're selling them for...

I too have a set (with tires) that I don't know what to do with.
Might offer 'em up as rollers to some local project rig.

Sometimes people will want 1 or 2 as a spare but I don't think there's much of a market for a set.

I bought a set of 16’s in May. $125 in pretty good condition with new caps. I have 15’s and there are more tire options with the 16’s.

Don’t price them too high and you will find a buyer. Good luck

Agree with the posts above. I had a set of stock 15s & Michelin LTXs that I was able to sell for $175 to a guy building an old Toyota P/U but they sat for a while before they moved. If you got the space and price them about right they'll move.

Ok thanks for the advice. I lowered them from $160 to $120 for the set. We’ll see if that works

They are kind of a hard sell. They're not super desirable and there are tons of them out there. They are worth about $15 ea. as scrap. A fair price for them would probably be $100.
