Question - which one of the toys is very similar, but a little bit bigger inside?

Is there another toyota which is very similar to the 4runner but a little more roomy in side. I am 6 ft 6 in and 320 lbs. I have a hard time getting in and out and my head hits the roof inside. I like the 4runner, but need the seat to go further back and down. 8<(

highlander and sequoia are all that come to mind for a car that has more room for you. im probably forgetting a model.

If I were your size I would definitely not be driving a 3rd Gen. I'm only 6' 2" ish and 175ish and it feels a little small.

Sequoias are nice. Have you sat in a 4th Gen 4runner?

I am 6'4" and both the 3rd and 4th gen 4Runners are hard to fit into. I of course don't have a sunroof. The sunroof robs a few inches of headroom and I need every inch. I still have to look down a little at a stop sign to see the light.

As mentioned the Highlander or Sequoia might be better. If you have not tried a 4Runner without a sunroof, you might try that, but is probably still too small.

You never know about cars, I tried a 2009 Subaru Forester and almost had to move the seat up and even with the sunroof, I had head room. I have also been in bigger cars and simply cannot fit into them. Buying cars for me is like buying shoes, I find what can fit, THEN I look at what I like.

i think the new venza is pretty roomy, one trick you could always do is rebolt the seats to be further back

Agreed, both the Tundra and Sequoia are bigger, even the older ones. The Highlander is basically a nice station wagon, not meant for what the 4Runner or Sequoia can do.

We got my new seats for the familys 96 becuase the original seats were shot after 230k of abuse. they were leather. We found some cloth ones at a junk yard and my dad put them in. i came home a couple months later and drove it and i was about 1.5-2 in lower. why i dont know. I am 6-2 180 and havnt had much probs with the sun roof and i set relatively strait up. yes i can hit the roof if i try but day to day it doesnt bother me. As for a new on, i would look into a land cruiser. i find them just as awesome.
