how much are these to trucks alike my 89 4runner an my new 89 toyota pickup im buying friday i basically wanna know if it was a v6 would the parts be compatible to switch. which one is better to make a offroad truck or dd thanks

The front suspension is the same, the engines are the same (22RE and 3.slo V6).

Comparing my Extra cab pickup to my 4runners, the 4runners feel more nimble and surefooted. If you are getting a standard cab pickup it may feel like a 4runner so it could even out if you have any weight in the bed to make up for the lack of hard top etc...

I prefer my ex cab because of the long wheelbase.
It really depends on the drivres preferences and the type of trails you wheel.

There's not going to be a big difference offroad.
They're pretty much the same.
