Quetico's 4Runner Trail

Well, I finally joined the T4R club! Here's my 2012 4Runner Trail, just picked it up last night:

Options are KDSS and Entune/Nav:

Today I swapped out the stock Bridgestone Droolers for the BFG's:

I immediately noticed a difference from the new rubber; the truck rides great. I've installed WeatherTech digital liners already. I have a set of the Canvasback cargo liners on the way as well.

I will miss the turbo from my Subaru, but I won't miss the cheapo suspension, constant rattles and road noise. I have no complaints about my T4R so far. I do have to get used to backing it into the garage though!

Coming soon... BudBuilt bump-out rock sliders!!

Yes, it does. I go to the Canadian side of the BWCA, which is Quetico Provincial Park. I've done about half a dozen trips in Quetico, one in Wabakimi, one in Killarney, and one in Montana. I don't get up there as much as I'd like; I did most of my trips when I lived in MI, so I've only been three times since I moved to CO. I went up there last September; it's a 2700 mile round trip! Worth it though.

As mentioned by Sandcrawler, welcome to the TE and the Salsa TE club, nice truck by the way. IMHO it sure is a nice colour. Like you I could not handle the BStone Duellers, it took me three weeks but I picked up the Toyo Open Country. I am wondering if they will be aggressive enough for me, sigh I hope so? I should have my Canvasbacks in about 1.5 weeks and soon after that and after speaking with Bud I will get the Sliders but with a smooth running board. Next some Bud skids and then I am hopping for a BudBuild Roof Rack (Not yet invented but should be in the works soon (I hope).

We used to always go to Ely, usually starting at Moose Lake and portaging up into Canada a bit. It has been a long time. I would love to go back.
