Quick fist clamp to mount Traction Boards?

I was trying to figure out a way to mount my off-brand traction boards (offroad boar) to my factory roof rack that doesn't cost more than the boards themselves. Outside of just zip tying them up there for an upcoming trip (which i might still do), I found these "Quick Fist" mounts on amazon. I'm wondering if I could use them to mount? I'm thinking using the clamp end around the crossbar and then running a long 10# bolt through the traction boards.

Thoughts?

I use cheapo ratchet straps with the length cut down.

I got a set of those, but the variety pack that has a bunch of different sizes. They seem good but I haven't really used them too much yet.

I've used all sorts of quick fist mounts. Currently have an ax, a splitting mull, and two fire extinguishers. They make a bunch of different types. Most of them have holes thru them, I run a cable lock thru those to lock stuff up.
