Quick help on this connector

2007 4runner.
The ec1 connector has a broken wire. It's not easy to access, I've been fighting how to unplug it for hours.

Would appreciate any helpful guidance on unplugging this.

Try spraying some silicone spray on the plastic, should make it easier to unclip.

Ok, I sprayed it well. Will leave overnight to hopefully soak in.

Press the two halves of the connector into each other slightly, then hit the button and wiggle it free.
