Quick question regarding 98 toyota MC w/ABS

As you look at the master cylinder is it correct that the first fitting (closest to the front) is for the front brakes and the one further back is for the rears?
This was my understanding but, someone with a lot more car knowledge than me said it was the reverse- so the front most fitting is for the rear circuit.
Searched but didn't find my awnser?

The brake lines should be two different sizes. The bigger line should be for the rear brakes, which ever spot that is on the MC?
I think the bigger line goes on the front of the MC??

Both lines and fittings are the same on the toyota. On the GM MCs that is the way they work though.
