Quick Question - Toytec Spacer

Does the $60 Toytec Front Spacer completely level the front out? What are your experiences with this product?? Thanks

Yes, it will leave some rake, but not much. It's a great spacer. Take a jack and place it in the center of the front, measure fender height, then jack it up one inch and see the results. Everyone has their own opinion on what's "level", so yours may be different than mine. This will let you know what to expect. I did the Toytec spacer with FJ springs in the front (awesome mod, you need them all around though). Check the link in my sig for more info/pics. I installed a 1/2" thick spacer which yielded around 1" of lift. There is still some rake, which really should be there anyhow. I installed this in place of my cornfed 3/2, and I'm very happy with the results.

i have the 1/2" spacer along with the fj springs/shock combe and gained just a hair over 2" which pretty much sets me level.
Guess it depends on if you have the V8 or V6 for the most part. The extra weight of the engine will have the biggest play in your gain.

I added the 1/2" spacer about 3 weeks ago to my 08 V8. I gained just under an inch of clearance between the wheel and the fender. The fenders are not level, but the stance looks great. The running boards sit about 1/8" from level. I had the Daystar 1" spacer (2" lift) and decided not to use it. Personally, I like having a little bit of rake on mine. I'm considering trying the other spacer just because I have it and it's east to do.

There will be virtually no MPG loss from a spacer like this. The hit in MPG would be from a larger tire if you choose to go that direction.

cant say that i have lost any mpg from a spacer lift. dont even know if there is any solid concrete facts that show there is any. now with larger tires, that would make sense seeing how it is more weight.

It's not only the weight of the larger tires, its also the effect the larger tire has on overall gearing. A larger tire numerically lowers your final drive ratio which makes the vehicle require more power to accelerate at the same rate of speed as before. In short, tires effect the MPG due to decreased ability to accelerate, which drivers compensate for by applying more throttle, and on the highway in regards to rotating mass.
