Quick question, transmission related PIC.

Just had my head gasket changed and while walking out to my 4runner,I noticed a hose hanging from under my vehicle... found a pic online showing the transmission and this hose. My question is...what does it connect to... see picture

That's your trans breather hose, it should continue with a hose to a spot by the bell housing. I think I have a picture in my build.

Hose is the one with a zip tie on it. It has a round holder for it. Mines just extended like a rear diff breather extention.

OK so it mounts to the transmission bell housing? Have a pic of the mount location?

Yes it does, it's connected to the hose end.

Where your trans connects to the bell housing, top side when installed. There's a hoop thing (metal) that the hose slides into and the breather slides in the hose at that point. The "T" fitting in your picture is where a 6" hose connects to and where the hoop is.
