From you, I will take that as a big thumbs up. I read your post too late about how the toytec ultimate springs settle. I wish I would have seen it earlier. That's my only complaint so far about my build.

In all honesty, this is the only thing I would have done different. I absolutely love the way the front coil overs feel. You can haul arse over extremely rough terrain, washboards, etc. The problem I have is only the left front spring keeps settling. I have to keep adjusting it to keep it at the same height that the right front spring stays at. I'm not sure why the left spring would be doing this. A call to Toytec is in order. I want to keep it the same measurement because of the alignment. Not only that, but I can tell a difference since last time I cranked it down. It is riding a bit rougher and I am compressing the spring more, even though I'm at the same height.

Yeah, yeah. I like roaming the Southwest incognito, and when it's dirty, it still looks good. It will be dirty most of the time. I love your rig. Yours was the first one on this site that I saw that I began to drool over and I knew, actually used the thing for what it was intended.

F-Stop - nice build! With your Toytec lift and Gobi rack what is the total height of your truck now that your springs have settled. I have a garage limitation and curious to see the total height. Thanks for sharing your build - looks really good and helps me visualize my future upgrades!

First, I want to thank everyone who has spent so much time and effort to post their builds on this forum. It really helped in the building of my rig. I'm a professional landscape photographer and this vehicle is perfect for me. Previously, I had a jeep. Although a little more capable, it was not nearly as comfortable on long distance trips, not as quiet, and nowhere near the room for all of my gear.

This thing drives great. I have 600 miles on it so far. 200 off road. I thought I'd post some photos of it new, before the New Mexico pinstriping is too heavily applied. Thanks again everyone.

I'm curious about your job. I'm a photographer too. Are you self-employed or do you work for a company that sends you around to do landscape photography? If the latter, how do you get in to that industry?
