well he is posted in 3rd gen, i dont believe they have the motorized booster pump like the 4th gens do. (i could be mistaken)

but what noise are we talking about. the chimes of the keys in the ignition with the door open, 2 clicks like a solenoid, the power antenna going up, the vehicle cranking and firing then running. what noise?

yes CC=creative commons - and sounds YOu heard are from 3gen of course. What is important motor starts in winter - cold (20F) so its runnin pretty fast after startup.
