You know, I am a firm believer in telling the truth, stating the facts, and going as far as quoting a wonderful verse which says, "The truth shall set you free."
Now with that being said, we are only human beings. Whether we value, or do not value our lives, we have no right to disrespect the diseased.. Doesn't matter if it's your Friend, Foe, or your next door neighbor.
Disrespecting the diseased by making assessments, judgements or statements which we know nothing about because we simply weren't there(As it seems in this case), is simply ignorant.
Look, we are all free to speak our minds, I understand this.. But when a human being has passed? he or she has no way of defending themselves against remarks made by others, especially when done online.

The more I learn about who Paul Walker was, the more respect I have for him as a person. He used his fame and his wealth to help others in a big way. I went to his charity site https://www.roww.org/ and I made a donation. It's a shame that it took his death for me to take the time to learn about the type of person he was. Both Paul and Roger were exceptional people. They both had much in common with you and I. Gear heads, parents, just all around good people. I know that if any one of us rolled up to a car show or meeting and there was charity to support a cause, we would all chip in a few bucks. That's all we are doing here. Making a donation to a fellow gear head.

It is truly a sad thing to hear of anyone dying, it is not our plan nor can we see/ predict our future. I will be praying for the both of the gentlemen and their families. Yes the movies are silly and unrealistic but those are the movies that show our "gear head" way of life. Any gear head should realize that the loss of a fellow grease monkey is a sad and tragic loss regardless of what happen or what they did. Paul walker impacted everyone on this board in someway shape and form. He got to live a great life and he will always be remembered. Both men are in a better place now and I will pray that we all impact someone's life as Paul did for others wether it's on the movie screen or at a jewelry store. My respects go to both men and their families.

As far as the "defamation." Saying someone made a mistake isn't necessarily damaging to their reputation. If that was the case, civil suits for slander would be out of control. We're all humans and we all make mistakes.

My wife got me F&F6 for Christmas and they managed to get this tribute added to the beginning of the disc. Sad stuff.
Also, not to get this debate raging again, but the latest info was released and they estimate that the car was doing over 100 mph. I imagine it didn't take much effort in that car.
