Radflo Lift 2.5 OW ?'s

What springs did OW uses for the rear springs in their kit. The ones that Radflo has with their kit are 2" with a 20% increased rate.

I found the kit here. I'm not sure if the pricing is still the same. I've contacted them and waiting for a respones

When I spoke to radflo they 'claimed' any kit spec'd for a 4runner now leaves radflo with the 'OW' valving.

You can order direct from radflo too. This would insure you get the 'OW' valving instead of someone sending you the FJ kit.

When I purchased my 2.5" OLW lift kit I had to wait an extra week or two because they had run out of springs for that kit. I talked to Andres and he said they use 700lbs Eibach Springs for the front & rear of the kits.

Hey BlackWorks, I would double check with Andries on this. I'm certain that they had 700# coils with the coilovers, but I'm thinking the rears are more in the neighborhood of 200-220# or so. I have a set on my truck and 700# sounds really stiff.

Ah, good to know! I hadn't realized they were two diff spring rates. DOH!

As Superman stated, the rear springs are Eibachs that were custom made for Overland Warehouse and they were 220 lbs/in.

Pricing at the link above is very similar to original pricing. You will likely want to upgrade the UCA to assure you can align properly. That's another discussion.

I know one thing.... you may worry about the cash right up until you take your rig out for a spin the first time after you install everything. That will end your concerns about how much you spent.

Since my bumper added A LOT of weight to the rear I went with the All Pro 3.5s. A bunch of guys over on 120 with 4x4 Labs rear bumpers had been very happy with the all pros so i went that way. I have been happy with the ride and they do wheel good too.

The OW rear springs just didn't give me the height with the rear bumper but still rode good with all of the weight. So now they are just sitting and I will let them go for a good price plus any shipping. The spring provided about 2.5" or maybe a bit less on a stock weight 5th Gen but still rode really good with the 2.5 Radflo kit.
