Radiator question..

I was checking coolant, I did a flush a few weeks ago. I noticed the spring is gone off the radiator cap, I could see the end of it looking into the hole where the cap is (submerged in coolant) in the radiator itself, not the overflow. I tried to get it w/ needle nose but no luck. I can feel it to the right of the hole w/ my pinky but cant get to it. Do I need to replace the radiator? I dont want this thing flowing through the engine w/ coolant and doing damage.

Any advice is appreciated.

Had this happen on my old Acura. I was worried the spring was going to clog up the flow so I didn't drive that car until I could fish it out. That said, you might be ok, you might not. If it were mine, I'd know it was where it shouldn't be and that alone would get to me.
