Hello All,
I just recently bought a 2000 4runner. The other day I was driving and my car overheated so I had to pull over to let it cool off. When I popped the hood, there was rust colored coolant everywhere. I got home and did a drain/flush/flush/flush/fill and It was still rusty.
I have decided to replace the radiator, hoses, thermostat sensor and thermostat.
My question is that obviously rusty coolant has been push through my whole cooling system. SO when I go to take off the radiator, how should I flush the engine coolant lines? Should I just hook up a hose to the inlet hose and push water through till it comes out clean at the outlet hose?
thanks for any help or input.
Its been killing me trying to figure it out but cant seem to find what im looking for.
