My radiator is cracked so I need to replace it, so I figured now is as good a time as any to do any mods/upgrades with respect to the cooling. I already have the external trans cooler bypassing the radiator so I don't need a rad with the built-in trans cooler. I've done some research on here and YT and P4x4, but can't seem to get a definitive answer for what I want.
I'm curious if there are any radiators (that fit) that are strictly for engine cooling, no trans cooler? Do any of the 3 4Runner radiator sizes fit the bill? Are those 3 sizes different from the manual transmission radiator? What about a Tacoma radiator?
