And there have been a number of recent threads (this year) that talk about the different options. You'll get WAY more out of reading those threads than by my personal opinion... which is already in those threads. The bottom line will be just picking if you want to spend ~$100, ~$200 or ~$400. The $100 level is all the same item, just with different branding. The $200 and $400 are each only 1 item... and then there's a maybe $600 option, but I've not seen anyone go that route since I've been here.

i'm at 211,000 miles with original radiator and i'm replacing mine soon. i'm going to get the koyo rad #a2207 v-seies pn #vho10665n. it doesnt have the cooling inlet and outlets for an auto tranny, but i have a manual so it's perfect for me. its all aluminum and expensive, but i like it.

I just went with the Denso Toyota "OEM" from the dealer, made in Taiwan. Looks perfectly good quality and the parts counter guys let me open it up and check it for damage. It may not last another 20 years but I'd be fine if I got 10.
FYI when I pulled off the upper hose the inlet neck of my original radiator just crumbled in my hands. I wouldn't put this job off any longer than you have to.

With an automatic, because the transmission cooler is in the bottom of the radiator you need to make sure that any non OEM radiator you are looking at has the transmission cooler built in, or you need to be ready to install an external transmission cooler. Personally, I just went with OEM since it wasn't crazy expensive, I didn't trust the cheap aftermarket radiators, and I didn't want to spend the money on the more expensive than OEM radiators.

I recently did the denso also right after I bought the rig, as the old one was original, 230k miles on it. It was turning brown, when I got the old one out I was able to crack the top just by squeezing with my hand.
but to the orignal question....i recomend the denso.
only issue is they do a terrible packing job and you can get new ones that are damaged. so inspect b4 leaving the store....or as soon as it arrives in case you need to get a replacement.

There are a many of parts that I will whole heartedly pay the money for when it comes to OEM. On the radiator, I went with Napa and I have been satisfied. The fitment was great, quality looked awesome. I looked at some OEM one's on Amazon, but I felt better about getting the one I did from Napa. Not trying to step on anyone else's opinion, just my experience.

Nice. I ordered one of these today. Peace of mind is worth a few extra bucks. The Non-OEM TYC I put in a few years ago on my other 3rd Gen was of dubious quality.
OEM radiator for automatics part number 16410-AZ011 is between $100-150 depending on where you order it from. It's a denso radiator made in Taiwan, but should be good for another 10 years.
I'd also recommend replacing the radiator cap as well and flushing the cooling system with distilled water before replacing the radiator but I'm a little overkill on my vehicle maintenance. Radiator cap part number 16401-20353
