Radio display help

Ok,

I hope this is super easy to figure out, but since I have had this 4runner less than a week, I cannot figure out how to keep the Audio display say on the radio station I am on, or satellite station.

To give you the details, 2010 4Runner LE, with Nav and Satilite with JBL, so if I am on the navigation screen then I click on the audio button on the left side of the screen to see who the radio station and the details on the song on it stays for only 30 seconds maybe a minute then goes back to the Nav screen......

Anyone know how I can keep it on the audio screen so you can just see the songs being played.

I have the same 4Runner and mine doesn't do this. What if you start up in radio mode (turn off the 4Runner when radio was on) will it stay in radio mode?

Wondering if you can narrow it down...and if it will stay in the mode it starts in or no matter what, always goes back to the map.

Are you pushing the touch screen or the physical buttons? Have you tried both?

I have never seen an option that you could turn on/off for this.

there should be an option to turn off "return to home screen" in the display settings or something to that effect.

there is on the 2014's.

Setup --> General --> Auto Screen Change --> = Off.

Thank you all for the help on this... I got it figured out. So many new toys on this thing and still trying to learn about them all.
