Radio harness problems with 87 Toyota 4 runner

My first gen 4runner radio harness is dead no power at all the fuses are good and the wires look fine I don't know what's wrong

That's a really vague post.

Do you have power out of the fuse box? Do you have 12v at the power wires behind the dash?

Sorry about my thread being vague this is first time I've ever used to form it's also my first Toyota I've ever owned I checked the power going into the fuse box like you mentioned and the first fuse in the second row is getting no power at all the other fuses had power coming in and out I checked the fuse itself and the fuse itself is not blown but that socket is not getting power into it

The upside-down 15a fuse is your cig lighter/dash clock/stereo power fuse. That circuit is hot with ignition, did you have the key turned when you checked it?

I had the 4 runner running when I tested the fuses the fuse for the radio is good and power dose go in and out of that fuse the fuse for my tail lights does not have power going in or out does the brake need to be pressed to test that fuse ?
