Hey guys my cd player on my 98 limited does not work, and a member advised me that he is taking the one out of his 2000 and replacing it with aftermarket. So before I waste my money, will these radios fit, and plug and play right with each other.

Both are am/fm Cd cass players. The only difference I can really see is a couple buttons in different places.

Like brian says, no one should be charging you anything for an old OEM radio.

Yes it should fit. There really isnt anything special to the radio hookup +/- 4 channel, power antenna, power, gnd, and dimmer.
