Is this a relatively new phenomenon from a recent software update to EnTune or has this been going on for a few years?

Is there any way to at least get the rebooting to stop? Disconnect Bluetooth possibly?
I've deleted the entune app from my phone. No more freezing. I have an iPhone 7.
I also get texts now and everything seems to be working pretty well.
Sorry if this is an obvious/dumb question (I searched the other threads mentioning a master reset and couldn't find a hard answer):The point of this procedure is to rid the hard-drive/processor of it's stored/corrupted data files in the system's "registry"... this will force the processor to it's default settings like when the vehicle was brand new.

Does doing this procedure wipe out the radio presets, navigation address book entries, etc.? Or just reset the settings/preferences to the defaults?
