Rago Modular Factory Rail Support System

Super excited for the aluminum variant.

+1 to adding some sort of angled feature on the front RSS for aerodynamics/noise reduction.
 
Are there any install instructions on how these get mounted to the factory rails or how additional accessories can be added?

Being able to install the cross bars without having to remove the rack would be a huge plus, surprised that the testers have not commented on that.

I think the price is fair especially for those who don't want to go through running a full rack 24/7. If these are easy to install remove it helps solve the issue some folks have brought up with washing/waxing under a rack.

Have the folks already testing these bars chimed in on the board with their thoughts so far?
 
The up close pictures do it a lot more justice. Lots of flexibility in configuration in the design. Kudos on east looks like a promising new product.
 
Just my 2 cents, but tweak the vertical sections of these bars like a parallelogram for better aerodynamics while maintaining rigidity. The leading vertical edge bent inwards, the following edge bent outwards.
 
I've been considering other 1/2-3/4 racks for my SR5P but this may be a more factory-looking solution to consider.

I'm anxious to see what other mounts and accessories will be available.

I think you mean trapezoidal, not parallelogram. You would only need to mod the leading edge of the first rail and leave the rest square as is.
 
Just a heads up for anyone considering this....it’s on sale right now for $400. I ordered mine a couple days ago.
 
Just a heads up in case anyone orders....

Their system will allow you to apply a promo code that they email you, then there will be a follow up email from them explaining how it was a mistake and cannot be applied to a sale item. A quick google search shows I’m not the first person this has happened to.

I’m no web expert but I’d think that would be somewhat easy to fix on their site so it doesn’t happen again.
 
This really is a great product. I would love to get some, but I don't need 5 of them. It looks like they are currently selling only packs of 5, I'd be happy with three for all of my needs.

Also, are there any additional attachments in the works? RTT quick release would be awesome!

checkout the LFD Offroad Bars, you can get however many you want. I know they are working on a RTT quick release but not sure if they have a timeline

I had them back when they were first released....the quality is solid and love that is was low-profile. I had both the optional attachments for the awning and traction boards. The only negative I would say is that it will be hard to clean since the cross-bars sits very low to your roof. Also, it will be a pain if you want to add a RTT unless you add their mounts that raises the height higher than I wanted to. The bars are also wide that you can't mount a cargo box (clamps won't go that wide).

I eventually replaced it with a Prinsu full rack which was lighter and better overall IMO.
