Rally Armor Mud Flaps

So I did a universal set up years ago with Rally Armor flap kit. I came from that subaru life so it was something I was interested it....Here are my experiences:
I created about the same setup as Rally Armor finally just came out with.
I liked the looks and likes the protection......BUT******* If you actually go offroading and get stuck and have to back up....Say goodbye to the flaps.
I was a glutton for a couple years and put them on in the winter and everytime I did I ended up tearing em off.
What happens is you get stuck, try to reverse and then get the flap stuck between the tire and the obstacle and then....RIP!
I had contacted Rally Armor years ago about getting our trucks set up....they were not interested in my involvement (understandable)
I did however get an email when they finally came out with them....and at $265 (or arounds there) Ill save my money, as I actually use mine for offloading.
If you have a pavement princess or never get stuck, I think these are rad! I have always loved their product. (EXPENSIVE THO)

Id like to see how they mounted, or other items they used to mount them. I know what it took for mine.
I saw them on a customer of mines Tacoma and they bolted up to the OEM spots

I'm waiting to see a 4Runner with these gold-plated $450/set bad boys on it! ..that's right $225 PER PAIR LOL

Some great commentary on things I have not thought about. After several e-mails to them about when they were going to release flaps for the 4R with no reply I gave up. I was seriously considering Rokblokz but don’t like the lack of support brackets like these to spread the stress. I did do some custom RA flaps on another car and really like how they turned out. I want good protection for snowy conditions (snow, ice, sand, salt and chemicals)
But the idea of them ripping off at this price gives me pause.
I also think showing them with stock wheels and tires, no lift, is not “selling” them very well. Aspirational would have been a better marketing approach while making them look like they fit.

I was just looking at their 'Merica ones, much more reasonable and look to actually be useful for blocking spray instead of that chicken-wire look outside of the wheel well. I mean seriously WTH?

Yeah I wasn't really understanding the design either...maybe it just cuts down 80% of the spray..for that fresh "I just got back from offroading but don't want to offend any Jeep owners" look LOL ..it looks good, and I guess it's reasonable to use aluminum to prevent rust..but I feel like there's some hole-shaped flaws in the design haha ..and STILL $450 for a set!

Nothing on their site is priced as a full set, everything is priced in pairs. But yes, if you'd like 100% plastic flaps with a small stainless flag, they start at $240..for poly plastic flaps. If you'd like the "premium" product, made out of not-plastic, then you pay $400+ ...still the most ridiculous mud flap pricing in existence by all comparisons.

The "Rally Armor" set is for, RALLY/awd CARS, Suburu's, etc..if you hadn't noticed how small they are.

Really? Not defending them but just looking at facts. I went through the check out process to verify and it is a complete set. From the check out basket
