Random driver's seat question

Why is there a felt flap sewn into the right side of the driver's seat between the seat and the console? It's not there on the passenger seat.

I have no idea, but I assumed since the drivers seat was powered it was to keep stuff from getting wedged in place and damaging something

That is for rubbing your greasy fingers on while chowing down on a fat, greasy cheeseburger and you used all the napkins.

Use it sparingly, a new one will cost you $40 from Toyota.

Blitzkrieg that was hilarious.

If you curl it up into a U shape, it will keep your keys from disappearing down there when you drop 'em.

I think you may be on to something here. That actually makes a great deal of sense.

I saw the felt the other day and was mystified.

glad to know I'm not the only one that has been mighty curious.. it can be a pita when your phone or something falls in-between the seat and the console
