Random Question involving tires...

So I'm really bummed right now, I saw a silverish jeep (i know swear word :jaw that was running a matte black rim and duratracs. The thing that i really liked was that they had the white letters on the tire instead of just the all black. My question now: is there any way for me to make my letters white? or do they have to be purchased that way? (i know that most tires come one side white and one black but mine are all black)

Not in the same way as a tire that is built that way. They're built with white rubber.

j/k I think the closets you're going to get would be those white paint pens you see at the auto parts stores (made especially for touching up the white letters on the tires) but I don't think they are all that durable...

Just keep in mind that they are a PITA to keep white. I had the white letters out on a set on my Taco and while I liked the looks of them when they were clean, I had to clean them all the time to keep them that way. Too OCD to leave them looking dirty. I'll never do that again.

Yeah it's what some custom 18 wheelers do. A complete PITA and actually can wash off very easily. I guess if you have the free time and dont mind it then go for it! Cheers!!
