Random squeaking?

As i was driving yesterday (in silence) I noticed a squeaking coming from the rear passenger side. It may be inside but i think it is coming from the outside. It only makes the noise while driving at random times. Does anybody know what this could be?

I know this is a minor "problem" but I would like to get it taken care of. Thanks for the help y'all.

Did it sound like your seat possibly? Toyota put out a TSB on the seats needing a little grease.

That may be it, so i will try it out. Where should i grease the seats? And with what to grease them?

Here is an older TSB on it. I just picked up a can of spray white grease at Walmart and sprayed on the one track that I thought was squeaking (drivers side rear in my case) and no more squeak.

Where was the spot that squeaked on your seats? I am having a hard time locating where exactly the sound is coming from.

Use lithium grease.

Is your spare tire loose? What about your tire jack? Is it your rear seats squeaking?

Hi Joe,
I had something similar with my truck last month. My random squeak came from my ebrake assembly. I guess I had (or more than likely my wife) had set the ebrake and drove off one too many times. It twisted up and eventually snapped a spring and end cap that was holding the spring in place. The cap and spring eventually wedged themselves between the ebrake pad and the rotor. At first is was a really really light squeak only heard around 5-15mph but eventually I started hearing all the time. Not sure if that's what your issue is or not but thought this might help narrow it down.

Are you sure it's not your brakes or calipers? I had a rock stuck in mind that was squeaking, driving me insane. Wound up just being a a little rock.

You're brilliant. I found a rock up there and it hasn't squeaked since i pulled it out.

I have a squeak from the rear brakes too, only when very cold and the first few starts, I think its the parking brake though, because it doesn't do it if I put a little pressure on the parking brake pedal.

Update: Squeak gone since 120K service. Don't know what they would have done to the rear brakes..
