RANT...damn radiator

Just replaced my radiator, cap and t-stat no more than a month ago with a new one from Oreilly Auto...

Damn thing started a slow trickle leak yesterday so looks like time to get back there and replace it AGAIN...

Just pisses me off buying a new part (thank goodness its under warranty) and the sum***** fails in less than a month, wasting my time and labor...

How much of a price difference were you looking at from a third party part vs. OEM?

Mine is doing the same thing... Hopefully once I replace it, it won't start leaking again.

what brand did you get? Was it the koyo?

I haven't heard anything bad about the Koyo Rad(paid $124 for it) I have a new one sitting in my garage that I got 2 weeks ago and I still haven't installed it.

Does anyone know the correct temp's we should be seeing out of our Rad's? According to my gauge I hit a high of 206 degrees, not sure if this number is on the high side or what but I think I need to install my new Rad quick... just walking by it I get burned, it's that hot on the outside.

My water temp (according to my scanguage) is almost always around 195 - 198 with infrequent spikes to 200.
