Just wanted to show people the ultra rare (and not often up for sale) Sport Limited Edition. 227k miles. Only $11k.

4 cylinder 5 speed 4wd. But... $17K? Crack pipe pricing. At least, I think so, they probably know their business better than I do.

Sport hood is 100% not original to that truck, and no such thing as a Sport Limited trim. In 1999, the two trims offered with the hood scoop were the elusive SR5 Highlander and the regular SR5 Sport.

That dealership is known to grossly overprice their inventory. Pretty sure they just modify these trucks (much like DavisAutoSports in VA) and hike the price. Also, in the scenario this truck was fitted with a Sport hood from the factory, they would have added the color matched front grill, and not the Limited chrome grill.

Hah. I had a feeling you were trolling, but wasn't sure. I had to make that post in case some crazy nut on here saw this thread and cut a check for the truck!

Another thing I noticed with this truck is the front end has been resprayed to cover the rock chips. Not a big deal, but would be nice if they mention those things. Who knows what else has been done/hidden.
 
They certainly do seem to have a set formula with their Toyota trucks. Lift, rack, tires & wheels, double the price.

I've seen some eBay seller in Florida that does a similar routine, only they toss an ARB and a cheap winch on the front as well.

I was about to buy it, but I’m going to wait until they find the ever rarer TRD Pro 3rd gen.
 
Company has been running add like that on cars.com for couple years now.
Looks like same runner with more miles on it, different wheels.

Is it only a sport if it has a Hood Scoop?

There are other features, but the scooped hood is the first big tell. As well as the lower door cladding is the big clue that it is a Limited.

And just for the record, there is no such thing as a Sport Limited model.
