rattling continued

I have concluded that 100% of the rattling comes from that rear door panel, while playing loud bass if I put pressure on the door the rattling COMPLETELY goes away. I will end up using dynomat if I have to however I would like to try some other ideas for insulating it and solving the problem, the only problem with that is I don't know how to get the rear panel off. Does anyone know an easy way to get this panel off or have instructions?

I am considering buying the complete 4runner maintenance manual which should show how to do this.

Also, if you have any other ideas how to solve this problem, I would appreciate it.

actually now that I look, that is not what i need.

I need the rear trunk / hatch door panel the panel right underneath of the window that slides down in the back, if anyone knows anything about how to remove that panel I would appreciate it

I'm having the same problem. My rear window rolls down, so I'm thinking the rattling is coming from some of the gears to roll the window down. I took out the panel today, hoping to fix the problem to no avail. I replaced the foam around some of the metal panels with a thicker foam, and it still rattles. But to remove the rear hatch panel on my 4runner ('02) you unscrew the laynard that's used to pull the hatch down, after that there's about 10 plastic snaps around the sides and bottom that should pop right out with a little force. After unpoping all the snaps, lift the panel upward and the top should slide out of a groove. Hope this helps. Be sure to post if you find anything that fixes the rattling.
