Rattling sound

Old thread but same as you posting for anyone else out there as well. 04 v8 and when in park and when in motion, nothing at all. In drive and at idle at a stop light, loud rattle.

Put thing in drive with parking brake and someone in there on brake and took a peak. It was this shield.

I have a similar issue and read previous threads, what did you end up doing to resolve it? Did you remove the shield around the catalytic converter?
