hearing like a rattle noise especially when i have the windows up coming from somewhere under driver side sounds like something is loose went underneath to check everything was tight anyone know what it can be??????? 07 SR5 4RUNNER

finally found the noise it was coming from the roof rack..the noise traveled all the way down.it was hard for me to believe that the noise could travel that far anyhow the dealer took off the cross bars on the rack and we drove it and the noise was gone..very expensive weekend but I'm glad that the noise is gone...So if you have a noise,rattle or squeak and it sounds like its coming from a certin area it could be that the noise is traveling from differnt part of the vehicle.............

Did you put the roofrack/cross bars back on? What is the fix?

we had the same problem with T4R 07 V-6 SR5. I was calling it a wind noise at freeway speed. The roof rack’s nut over the driver side door was noticed as very loose as I explained the noise to the Dealer’s Tech. I felt it would be something inside, on or below the door that they would know of. Tightening took care of the noise. jow
