ok guys, if its good with everybody lets meet there around 9:30 / 10:00 am somewhere on the left side of the parking lot as you enter.
If you have not so yet, please download and fill out the forms referenced on the brilliantly written Post 27. Those bringing kids will also need the Parental Waiver. I suggest that as soon as you get there go inside and pay your fees. The lines can be long but they usually move pretty fast. Being a Friday should help.
Some random thoughts.......
As mentioned remove your stock running boards, if possible.
Pack a lunch / snacks and drinks.
We will be airing down tires to about 20 psi so a tire gauge will be helpful. I have deflators that other can use.
If you don't have on board air, bring some quarters if you want to fill up at the Exxon station on your way home.
Speaking of the Exxon station, it very close to the entrance so fill up your tanks and empty your bladders. There is also a BK there.
Around here they are calling for rain in the middle of the week so we may see some mud, Yeah! Otherwise the weather looks good!
I normally bring a pair of boots in case we need to get out and walk the mud.
Common tools are smart to always have in your truck but we will share. Lets hope they are not needed.
Please read your Owner's Manual so you at least know how to go into 4Low and turn on ATRAC
Remember to turn OFF your side airbags and remember that it resets to On every time you start your truck.
Hopefully most have a CB radio, if not we will make due.
Those bringing daughters don't forget the TP and teaching them the fine art of squatting.
If you have never done so, take 10 mins and practice lowering your spare. No need to take if off but doing it at least once will help you understand how it works.
Make sure your life insurance is paid up and tell both your wife and girl friend how much you love them before leaving, just make sure you don't tell them at the same time in case you live through the experience!
I know some of you are still nervous. Good! That just means you are alive and your brain is working. We will take all very slow and easy. There are bypasses if there is any part of the trail you do not feel comfortable doing. No dishonor there. When with my 6 year daughter I am a wimp despite her "go for it Dada" yells from the back seat.
I'll ask my friend Joe to take the lead as he knows the tails much better than me. He will be in a Jeep so if he can make it through we should be good to go. And if he can't, well - what's more fun than laughing at a stuck Jeep guy? I'll ask my other Jeep friend to take 2nd position as he has the best sense of which line to pick. (Assuming we get his rear suspension back together in time), I'll take third so I can stop and guide those behind. Any more experienced volunteer to bring up the rear to make sure nobody gets left behind? Jesse?
Again, this is not my show so I'm only offering suggestions and recommendations. Other input is appreciated.

I told her while we are wheeling that she could ride shotgun, Belted in her booster of course, instead of sitting in back so she is all excited :banana: :reddance:
