RCI Aluminum Gas Tank Skid Picture request!

Friends,

I recently discovered my gas tank straps were rusted through, and my tank was resting on my SEVERELY rusted gas tank skid. Needless to say a ratchet strap is now in place and Rock Auto tank straps and an RCI Aluminum gas tank skid is OTW.

While I do NOT offroad on extreme terrain, I'd like any pictures you can muster of an Aluminum Skid that has been used for a long time? Interested in how they're holding up (not that I'll test their durability to the fullest).

I plan on leaving mine raw.

Yikes. Well, glad you caught it before something worse happened. I've only had my RCI AL gas tank skid on for a few months...so nothing picture worth. Sorry.

Weight.
I went with AL skids where available to save on total weight.

Corrosion resistance and weight for me. It's amazing how much the weight difference is between full steel vs full aluminum skids.
