ready to buy a trail 4x4..help locating

Anyone know of a Silver TE with kdss...No Navigation. I am located Ga, and I am ready to buy-I will travel, but I am looking for a larger volume dealer that is not going to try to be totally unrealistic with the price they want. I would love to find a leftover 12, but a 13 is fine too.

If you're near your dealer and see one that fits the description, please let me know. Thanks,

Barkley's pricing looks pretty darn good. He's selling 2013s for a little less than I paid for my '12 TE.

There are a few of them up in my neck of the woods, and a ton of them in Southern California, but that's a bit out of the way for you and I am not sure how they'd do on pricing.
 
would you consider magnetic grey? 2 of those and 2 salsa red at stevinson toyota in Lakewood CO
 
If by "not wanting Nav" you are intending to go with the stock radio, I'd say consider the Entune System (which has Nav). The stock radio (had it in my '10) was a dog, and when I got my '12, I got the Entune system. The audio is much better, and the nav is nice when I occasionally use it.
 
OP- I am a firm believer in buying what you want, not what the dealer wants to sell you. However, having been where you are recently (and picking up my Trail at Barkley today!) I learned a few things.

It seems that in the 10, 11 and 12 time frame it wasn't as hard to find a Trail with either option (nav, KDSS), but not both. Now it seems it's all or nothing. When I first started looking in early December Barkley had 3 on the lot, all were no option. Toyota built a group of them in early-mid January and all that came into Barkley were fully optioned. When my salesman looked into it, he said it seems to be that way now although it is NOT a formal rule.

Just my experience, but something you may want to look into before you pull your hair out looking for a unicorn.

If you contact Jim Barkley Toyota, ask for Jeff Haskins. He speaks the language.
 
Check out Sand Mountain Toyota in Albertville, AL. That's where I bought my SR5 4x4. Super to deal with, beat Hoover Toyota (largest volume dealer in AL) by a mile, didn't argue over trade value either. I would highly recommend them.

Nope-I go aftermarket with every vehicle I own. Stock etune doesn't do it for me, it's just money wasted for something I will take out. ;)

they don't have any silver TE's in stock. Thanks for the input though.

They always have a large inventory and were the cheapest I could find in the nation. Ended up purchasing at a local dealer but used their prices in my negotiation.

Thanks! I definitely will watch, my family lives in Richmond Va, and we go back there to visit every couple months. It would be easy to go up there and pick one up.....
 
Trails-a-plenty at Jim Barkley Toyota today. The two silver ones (and the black) are Entune and KDSS. The other MG is no option.

Look in Denver.

Go Toyota Arapahoe, Stevinson West (or East, I can't remember), and another dealer in the greater Denver Area have 5-10 Trails each.

I was supposed to go last Thursday to get one...But the wife put the kibosh on that because the baby is due in less than 3 weeks. Looks like I'm either shipping one or waiting 3 months (unless the off-chance happens and one pops up locally). :moping:

I will keep these guys on my short list....I wouldn't mind a stop at chimney rock and that area up there...its about 6 hours for me driving..ultimately I want to see if I can find one without etune...
