real world reviews for slee sliders?

I have a set of Slee sliders on my 100-series Land Cruiser and had a set on my departed 3rd Gen 4Runner. I have been real happy and have had zero problems with them. I have beat the hell out of them on both vehicles and they worked as advertised.
Keep in mind Slee does not have a set of sliders available (yet?) for 5th Gens with KDSS.

let's see some photos when you get them installed. Did you go regular or beefy? How long was your wait time?

Paul, the owner of Equipt, had a custom see made for his TE...its in his build thread over on ExPo in the 4Runner section.
He drives all over creation.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I was curious if anyone has any experience with these since the last poster on this thread almost 2 years ago.
These are amongst the only ones aesthetically pleasing to me that seem to serve the dual purpose of a slider AND a competitent step. I'm not likely to be in a position of needing heavy duty protection.
The Bud Built option will likely be my second choice.
The price doesn't put me off too much as most of the other slider options come close in price by the time you factor in powder coating, tread plating, etc.
I know Paul from Equipt (just sold his 4Runner and is building a 200 series LC) ran these, and had KDSS, and I have a call in to him for details.
So. Anyone else use these? Or are they just too expensive and not perceived to be utilitarian enough for this audience?
And just for the sake of information shared, here is a detailed installation guide from Slee on these sliders. And apparently, as indicated in the guide, they support KDSS now.

I don't know if anyone has them or not, but they look like they way over complicate a pretty simple piece of armor. Shrockworks sliders can be made with the side tubes flat and tread plated so they can be used as a step. They're only $610, which is way less than Slee's at almost $1000. That's with powdercoat. If you get them bare steel it's $65 less.
I'm sure slee's are great, they're just really expensive and have about 100 bolts you have to put together.

The problem with Shrockworks, for me, is the back order time and what I'm hearing from others regarding poor communication. Trust me, I know the feeling of being so busy that communication ends up suffering, so I'm empathetic. I just prefer not to be on the customer side.
Otherwise I'm sure they're a good product.
Paul from Equipt couldn't say enough good about his, which tipped me over the edge. I hold his opinion in high regard.
I went ahead and made the order, they should be here in about 7-10 days.
I'll be sure to update everyone on the install.

Cool. Post some info on them. 7-10 days is about 10 x faster than shrockworks, so that's a big plus.

From what I understand Shrockworks waits until they have enough similar orders to make a run. The same complaint was all over the Xterra forum I frequented.

Old thread but I wanted to share my experience with SLEE sliders since I don't understand why they're not more popular....
-These are stout. They have more mounting bolts than most sliders (maybe all?) on the market. Took a tight switchback on a mountain trail, which my left slider took major weight on rock face, the slider helped me pivot the back end out without damage to my quarter panel.
-The step is functional and helps my kids/wife get into the car much easier.
-In my opinion the most aesthetic sliders on the market.
