I quit reading after the first sentence:

LOL, $55K?? There's his problem....
 
All that effort and it only has 33's and lousy mud terrains.

I'd offer 15k if he had that AWFUL paint scheme removed.:D

sorry, i figured that word would probably come up as all asteriks so i went back and censored myself lol.

i know i have done alot of stuff to my 4runner looking back might not have been the way to go, but for that much money i could have bought myself about two more 4runners and full decked them out for probably under 55k.
 
hmm lets see ARB and gears front and rear 1800..Total Chaos long travel kit 5k ... etc etc I only come up with maybe 20k in build. Only because when i was day dreaming about the different ways I would build my truck if money was no object.. my most expensive build was 21k and that was with 10k into a Solid axle swap with custom axle.. I dont see 55k.

you for forgot the custom vinal, thats like $20k??? i mean that adds power and probably stabilizes the truck on those 80mph whoops!

That is more than just an ugly-ass 4Runner with a bumper, gears, and Long Travel. There is a lot more to that suspension setup than just your basic long travel kit and basically every part on that thing is top of the line. Considering he very well could have paid for install on a lot of it, its not hard to believe at all that he has $55k in that truck. But it's still ugly.
 
OK have to get a little defensive.. the Total Chaos build he has is 5800, I know I live by them and was going to go that route with mine except more expensive ICONS coil overs instead of what he used. The back end is where he spent another 2k at most. and yes if he paid someone to install it then yes it could very well go from the 18-20k (including purchase price of truck) up to around 40k or more for install and fabwork. I know it is a lot more then just a bumper. I am sure it handles great and is a quality build, I was not knocking the level of parts he used, jsut the overall price. Just like when I used to see people spending 100k on V8 sand buggies, when 6 years earlier the same exact buggy built with same specs was 35-45. It was what the market would handle and people had more DOLLARS then SENSE.

every auto in the world will do that if you go fast enough and cut hard enough to put the force above center of gravity - good vehicles and drivers keep the inside tire on the ground
