Rear Axle Seal: Suggestions?

Dont they use Litium grease in the wheel bearings. Looks like you used mobil1 grease. Im not a fan of the mobil1 grease. It separates and dries out.

I test drove the truck: The straighten up ABS ring is functional..

If an aftermarket retainer [especially TIMKEN (embossed)] is installed, before removing the ABS ring, grind the retainer. The OEM has nothing embossed.

The other side is good and no play in the oem bearing (214K miles): Should I replace that or leave it alone until it leaks? I don't want to experience a faulty bearing in the bad way.

Good job! I bent my ABS ring slightly by not paying careful enough attention to the bearing splitter on the first side. I did better on the second side. It has not been any issue for me in a lot of miles since.
