The guy in the pic is me from 2005 when I followed Judas Priest around the Northeast in the Metallica Truck. I'm a Metalhead (hence the Motorhead shirt) so the horns are correct. Someone made that meme on the Judas Priest forum when we were all meeting up for shows. Seen 8 shows in about 12 days. There's pics in my build thread. Since it's got my 3RZ in it I use it on this forum once in a while. :bigok:

Back on topic, I replaced a leaky axle seal that appeared to be original (268.5K) and after two days of wheeling and 1K miles no leak. I guess seals can just go bad over time. The jury is still out on bearings outlasting the seals but so far so good.

The show of shows. Maiden touring the Beast album, Eddie fighting the devil on stage, first global assault with Bruce Dickinson. Priest opening with the Hellion. Damn. I was in 8th grade, didn't make the cut but had the 33s

That was $350 labor and $325 parts + tax. All toyota OEM except brake pads and wheel cylinders.

Second that.
Stealer (So Cal) quoted me $1400 to do both sides rear wheel bearing and seals on my first-gen. Of course I just wanted to know how much I'm saving by doing it myself.
ABS, etc aside, the wheel bearing is pretty straightforward job, Thanks to youtube and fellow owners. Just needed to pay someone for his time so I can use his press. Spent $130 on parts with OEM Koyo bearing. $30 for someone's time and use of his press.
